This is one of Dan's favorites. Whenever I serve it to others, they are amazed at how easy it is to make!
Carrots, scrubbed and sliced into rounds
Olive oil
Water
Maple syrup
Fry the carrots on High in a little bit of oil just until brown.
Add water until the carrots are almost covered.
Add a dallop of maple syrup.
Continue cooking until water has boiled away.
