Zucchini

There are a number of ways to prepare zucchini. Here are three of my favorite.

First, wash thoroughly and cut off ends.

Broiled:

This is by far my favorite. The squash comes out unbelievably sweet and tasty.

Cut zucchini lengthwise into slab.

Place under broiler and cook until the edges are just turning brown. Turn and repeat on the other side.

Sauteed:

Slice zucchini into rounds, and then cut in half to create half moons.

Saute in a little butter and/or olive oil until crisp tender.

Steamed:

Slice zucchini into rounds.

Steam until crisp tender.
